Chemins de Fur de Midi (French Railway Co) Antique Lantern/Lamp Electric. Old lantern from the French Railway or South Railway of France made by Luchaire St Ouen in France. Very old. I think it may have been converted to a plug in style lamp a long time ago as cord is old, but it does not work. Still a great piece of history for train lovers and can be rewired. I do not want to because I don't want to chance it if someone wants it in its original form. Definitely has patina. The lamp shade portion lifts up and down and comes off. Base is metal and looks like it might have originally been an oil lamp with the adjustable knob at base of glass bulb. Excellent industrial or steam punk piece of ository and very old.
