The mirror in the image is 33” H x 17” W and is a vintage Syroco mirror made in the 1960s or 1970s. It is in very good vintage condition with a small scratch in the mid left section of the glass that isn’t noticeable and does not interfere with the function or beauty of the mirror. Minor wear for its age.
The mirror was made by the Syracuse Ornamental Company (Syroco), which was known for creating decorative items from molded wood-pulp and later, plastics and resins. While the company was founded in the 1890s, it began producing these ornate, gold-finished mirrors in the mid-20th century. Specific examples of similar mirrors are dated to the 1960s and 1970s.
