Vintage vase by Portmeirion from the Birds of Britain collection.
This one is the Little Egret, or Egretta Garzetta.
Originally conceived in the mid 1970s, the designs for this collection were taken from the book Natural History of British Birds by Edward Donovan, published in 1794.
The vase features a stunning white Egret in a natural almost Japanese style setting.
It has the same design on 2 sides of the vase.
