This is a 1938 Edgar Bergman Charlie McCarthy cardboard ventriloquist figure. It is in fully working condition, and when you pull the cardboard flap in the back his eyes and mouth go up and down. It was a vintage promotional premium cardboard figure from Ketterlinus of Phila. USA. It is of Edgar Bergen's Charlie McCarthy ventriloquist figure from 1938. Features mouth and eyes that move up and down when paper/cardboard tab on back is moved up or down. Also has legs that are folded so that it appears that Charlie is sitting. He stands approx 17 inches tall and is 8 inches across. Hand puppet has age appropriate wear, metal hat pin's mouth moves. Game is complete with hand written game instructions. See pics for details
