“For Grandma's Pride and Joy and “For Grandpa’s Pride and Joy” set of Lefton ceramic coin banks. Two banks in this adorable set.
Filled with love, coins, and pocket change!
These were made in Japan in the 1960's or 1970's by Lefton. They were known for producing cute keepsakes, banks and other decorative pieces, and they did it so well! They were hand-painted and nicely detailed.
The bottom has the item number 5719 and 5720 printed or stamped in it. Also an original red oval ‘Made in Japan’ sticker.
Each are approximately 8.5 tall, is 4.5 wide and 4 deep.
One of the piggy banks is missing the rubber stopper and has a small chip on the edge of the hole at the bottom.
